What was the challenge?
A leading global asset manager, approached Fiducial Communications to help deliver video marketing content that was adapted to their local customer. When expanding into global markets, regional distributors often find it challenging to promote new brands when provided with English-only marketing collateral. However traditional localisation processes are time-consuming and costly.
The firm needed a way to meet the needs of their local markets while maintaining costs and delivery times at a reasonable level, so that they could service as many regions as possible.
Our solution
Fiducial Communications used Artificial Intelligence (AI) to create video content, turning presenters into polyglots and enabling them to speak in multiple languages through avatar technology and AI voice generation. This was combined with additional explanatory and engaging infographic visuals, which added another dimension of communication that was important in connecting with these new non-English audiences.
The solution removed extra barriers often experienced when consuming multilingual or translated content and audiences received enhanced customer experiences and better understanding of the marketing message.
What were the results?
The reaction from end users has been overwhelmingly positive with many saying they have never seen anything like this before from an asset manager. They also felt that more effort has been made to create unique localised content and thanked us for investing the time to find a way to communicate in their own language.
Overall, our client was able to serve more markets with their allocated budget and increase overall customer satisfaction by using a tech-enabled solution.
These results combined have improved customer relations in the regions and more than met our original objectives set when deciding to use this new approach. These innovative communications have worked in combination with other local sales efforts to drive flows into these important funds from other regions of the world.
